For now, 'The Sims' continues to be the game to play for folks who love to play with life-simulation games. Electronic Arts have been improving the game through the years, the last of which is "The Sims 4" which most are playing right now. However, there could be a new life-simulation game coming soon to give EA a run for its money. The game is "Paralives," a dollhouse simulation that looks pretty much like "The Sims" gameplay and features.

"Paralives" has no official release date set for now but a glimpse of things to come has been shown off. Pictures and videos of the game were put up over at Steam, looking pretty much modern with some impressive interface. The graphics seem to be better up and close and attention to detail and features seem a bit more closely compared to "The Sims." With hardly notable differences, it will be interesting if gamers would bite and get hooked to "Paralives."

"Paralives" will be playable on the PC and Mac once it is ready for deployment. Players can customize their players, living spaces and even homes in the game. The pictures and videos look impressive though some may want to see if game graphics will take it to the next level. The current setup looks fine but most know how there are games who have now gone as far as the virtual reality niche. But before that, the people behind "Paralives" may need to see how smooth gameplay will be once the dozens of players try it out.

What also remains to be seen is whether "Paralives" can last as long as "The Sims." There have been different installments to the game already aside from the expansion packs that broadens what gamers can do. The latest one scheduled to come out is "The Eco Lifestyle" expansion that focuses on eco-friendly matters. This includes addressing pollution and ways to maintain a sustainable neighborhood.

The goal behind "The Eco Lifestyle" expansion is pretty much self-explanatory. Aside from raising environmental awareness, players get to choose a career path related to it. That includes being a civil engineer or a freelance crafter. Aside from that, gamers can even utilize science to come up with inventions that can help reduce Evergreen Harbor's carbon footprint and help make the neighborhood a better place to live in.

"The Sims Eco Lifestyle" expansion is scheduled for release on June 5 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Folks who want to get hold of the pack can do so by pre-ordering it now here.
