Sony recently announced the release date and price of its latest flagship smartphone. The Sony Xperia 1 II arrives at buyers on Jul 24, while the company begins accepting pre-orders on Jul 1, 2020. The upcoming smartphone is loaded with impressive specs and features and does not come cheap.

Sony recently announced the arrival of Sony Xperia 1 II, running on Android 10. One of the significant features of the upcoming flagship smartphone from Sony is its 12 MP triple rear camera configuration. According to the company, it is capable of shooting 20 fps in burst mode, could autofocus on the eyes, and could make AF/AE calculation in 60 TPS.
The Sony Xperia 1 II does not feature the large APS-C or the full-frame sensor that the Alpha camera has. However, it introduces crucial performance features of its impressive camera series in the flagship smartphone. The burst mode's 20 fps is as fast as its sports-oriented camera that retails at $4500.
Additionally, the Sony Xperia 1 II features Cinematography Pro and Photography Pro apps. These fantastic apps offer users more manual control of the smartphone's camera settings to customize and achieve their preferred videos and photos.

Sony claims that the Xperia Pro is capable of pointing the direction of a mmWave 5G connection as well as its reception and transmission speeds. Meanwhile, the Sony Xperia 1 II starts retailing at $1,199, the same price Samsung sells its Galaxy S20 Plus. The Sony Xperia 1 II is a lot pricier than that of Samsung in terms of 5G technology.
While the pre-order officially starts on Jul 1, 2020, those who pre-orders as early as Jun 28 get a free pair of Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds. A pretty good deal considering that the earbuds feature active noise cancellation.
