Melania Trump followed the old school style in celebrating Memorial Day: women should wear white. FLOTUS was clad in all-white when she accompanied President Donald Trump to celebrate Memorial Day at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia and Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine in Baltimore.

The First Lady looked immaculate when she and POTUS paid their respects to the members of the US military who have lost their lives. Melania paired her $3,500 white double-breasted with gold-colored buttons wool coat by Gucci with white stiletto pumps.

With her recent choice of outfit, many have noticed that Melania has been fond of white coats. She already worn variants of this on two occasions this year.

In February, she paired her white coat with Dior combat boots following a state visit to India. Melania She also wore on the same month a Gucci white belted coat when she attended the Governors' Spouses luncheon at The White House.

Melania Trump's most recent outing followed the small graduation ceremony that she and her husband hosted at the White House on Friday for the 20 graduates across the country. In her social media post, the 50-year-old former model saluted all the graduates and encouraged them to continue chasing their dreams and strive to be the best.

Meanwhile, despite large gatherings being canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Memorial Day celebration went ahead. It, however, took place on a smaller scale than in the past years. Though participants were not seen wearing masks, Melania and the rest of the attendees do practice the required social distancing protocol.

As FLOTUS received praise for her impeccable fashion choices, her husband was slammed for deciding to continue holding gatherings despite the pandemic. Baltimore Mayor Bernard C. Young slammed the president for visiting his city.

Young said Trump is not setting a good example about the CDC's stay-at-home recommendation. He added that Baltimore cannot afford the added cost of hosting the president when it is losing $20 million a month because of the pandemic. White House responded by saying the brave American soldiers did not stay at home when they preserved the freedom of the country and so as the president.

Many also noticed that the Memorial Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery started late. It appeared that the ceremony was scheduled for 10 a.m. but did not begin until 30 minutes after the scheduled time. Reports have it that the president's motorcade left the White House at 9:58 a.m.
