Prince Charles survived a major health scare after he tested positive for coronavirus back in March. He was declared as the first member of the Royal family to be diagnosed with the infectious disease. The Prince of Wales was put to self-isolation and became one of the lucky ones who recovered from COVID-19.

Now, in the Sky News series After The Pandemic: Our New World, Prince Charles is reminding Britons of the importance of nature. The future king noted that they should make nature the “center of everything” amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“People have just begun to realize that we have to put nature back at the center of everything we do and put it at the center of our economy,” he said.

Prince Charles is known for his deep-rooted love of the environment. The future king would share updates about environmental issues to spread awareness about the matter.

Back in April, Prince Charles pleads to everyone to learn their lessons and change their behaviors once the coronavirus pandemic ends. He penned his plea while he was self-isolating at his Scottish home in Birkhall.

Prince Charles then urged Britons and people all around the world not to return to their old ways of living. Instead, everyone should understand the “crucial importance of Nature.”

Meanwhile, Prince Charles was accompanied by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall to show support for NHS staff and key workers. The future King and his wife took part in the “Clap Four Our Carers” campaign in the same month.

Frontline NHS staff, care workers, and people who have been helping out during the global health crisis are being hailed heroes for their efforts. In a symbol of union, Prince Charles and Camilla cheered for them.

The moment was rather special for Prince Charles as it was the first occasion that he and the Duchess of Cornwall participated since he recovered from COVID-19. Coronavirus has taken hundreds of thousands of lives all around the world, and the cure for the pandemic has yet to be discovered.

That being said, world leaders have implemented certain rules such as social distancing and nationwide lockdown in an attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19. The rule should be strictly followed until it is lifted.

Just like everyone else, the Royal family members are also following the emergency protocol. In fact, Prince William and Kate Middleton are doing their royal duties through video calls. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been amping up their royal obligations while Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles remain in isolation.
