Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have been planning their wedding for a year now. The couple hasn't announced a summer wedding until early this year but it has been pushed back because of the coronavirus pandemic. Now, new rumors indicated that Lopez and Rodriquez have, allegedly, decided to call off the wedding altogether.
According to the National Enquirer, JLo and ARod are calling off their wedding not only because of COVID-19. It claimed that the couple has been bickering a lot as they struggle quarantining together. The tabloid alleged that the couple is using pandemic as an excuse to slow things down and reconsider their plans before jumping into a more serious commitment.
A source of the tabloid claimed Alex is just playing it cool in front of the cameras. Behind the scene, however, he is seething over the alleged "immaturity" of his fiancée.
The insider claimed the Hustlers actress has been consumed on showing off her toned body on social media and it's driving Alex crazy. The former New York Yankee star, reportedly, feels like living with a teenager rather than a woman that he wants to marry.
Gossip Cop debunked the story upon reaching out to a source close to the couple who also dismissed the National Enquirer article. The outlet pointed out that Lopez and Rodriguez have decided to postpone their nuptials for the safety of their guests. It doesn't mean that the wedding is not happening in the future.
On the claim that the "On The Floor" singer is obsessed and has been showing off her body in social media, Gossip Cop said it doesn't seem right to accuse Lopez of such a thing. While it's true that the Second Act actress posted to TikTok a few times a week and some showed Lopez dancing, many of those, however, don't feature her or showing off her killer body.
The outlet added that the National Enquirer has a track record of false reporting when it comes to Lopez and Rodriguez. Back in August 2019, it falsely claimed that the singer/actress was "too busy" to marry Alex which caused friction between them.
A few months later, the same tabloid claimed the "Let's Get Loud" singer was "too cheap" to pay for her wedding. This was, allegedly, the reason why the couple hasn't set a date for their nuptials. Gossip Cop dismissed both rumors.
Meanwhile, JLo and ARod recently joined the Black Lives Matter protest in Los Angeles. The couple shared on Instgram a video of them carrying signs that read, "Let's Get Loud for Black Lives Matter" and "BLM Enough is Enough" that were, reportedly, made by Lopez's twins, Emme and Max.
