Jessica Mulroney has been fired from her TV reality show, I Do, Redo, over her, reportedly, "very problematic" exchange with social media influencer Sasha Exeter. CTV released an announcement confirming that Meghan Markle's best friend would no longer appear on the show.

The network's decision came after Mulroney issued an apology to Exeter for a "white privilege" row the two had over the past couple of days. CTV said Jessica's recent action contradicts the company's commitment to diversity and equality

Apparently, the network has stopped airing the show but has yet to decide whether or not to continue with the series without Mulroney. I Do, Redo premiered in March, and Netflix also released the show internationally.

Aside from I Do, Redo, Jessica also presents a fashion segment for ABC's Good Morning America. The network has yet to release a statement about Mulroney's future in GMA

The conflict between Mulroney and Exeter started last week when the latter posted on Instagram a generic call to action for her fellow social media influencers to use their platforms to speak out for the Black Lives Matter movement. The lifestyle blogger said Mulroney "took offense" to her post.

Sasha shared a 12-minute long video, which she called her "Amy Cooper Experience." She was referring to the white woman who called the police on a black bird watcher who had asked her to leash her dog while having a walk at New York City's Central Park.

Exeter claimed Mulroney's wealth, power, and privilege gave her the confidence to threaten her career. Jessica Mulroney is married to Ben Mulroney, son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.

Sasha stressed that Mulroney couldn't say that she stood in solidarity with BLM while trying to silence her in private messages. She called it a classic example of "textbook white privilege."

In response, the TV host apologized for her behavior towards Sasha. In her apology post, the 40-year-old mother-of-three seemingly referred to her friendship with Markle, who has been the target of racist attacks since she started dating Prince Harry.

Mulroney said she has learned a lot from her "close friend" experience. She also vowed to continue to learn and listen on how she can use her privilege to raise awareness and to support the black community.

However, it appeared that Mulroney still intends to take legal action against Exeter. Sasha shared on her Instagram story an alleged screenshot of Mulroney's private message to her after she issued an apology. The message showed Jessica telling Sasha, "Liable suit. Good luck."
