Suri Cruise is reportedly set to have an unforgettable summer this year as she is about to spend it with her father, Tom Cruise. A tabloid claimed the Mission: Impossible actor is planning to take his daughter to Florida this summer and his ex-wife, Katie Holmes, is okay with that.
Star Magazine published a story this week with a headline that reads, "Suri at 14 Moving in With Tom!". The tabloid claimed Suri will be reuniting with her father after being estranged with each other since Cruise and Holmes split in 2012. It alleged that the reunion came about after the 14-year-old teen reached out to Cruise.
Star claimed Suri will be spending her summer at a Scientology compound in Clearwater, Florida. Holmes is allegedly on board of the plan, despite her reservations about her ex-husband's controversial religion. Then the insider claimed the former spouses have decided to let their daughter decide if she wants to join the Scientology Church when she gets old.
A source of the tabloid claimed when Cruise and Holmes got divorced, they both agreed it would be best for Suri to live with her mother in New York City. The Top Gun actor allegedly thought at the time it was the best thing to do under the circumstances. Star added that Suri doesn't hate her dad and her mother even encouraged her to be proud of Cruise.
The Star story that Suri and Cruise would be reuniting this summer sounds great only if it's true. Gossip Cop noted that Holmes' rep has denied the rumor that Suri will be spending summer with her famous dad, more so at the Scientology HQ in Florida.
It is worth noting that it was widely reported that the very reason why Katie divorced Tom was because of his religion and she doesn't want Suri to be part of it. The Batman Begins actress asked for full custody of her daughter and she also made sure that she and Cruise would agree that Suri wouldn't have a relationship with Scientology.
Gossip Cop added that back in November 2018, Star also claimed that Cruise was ready to cut ties with Scientology for Suri. The story was proven false. Cruise remained committed with the church and there is no indication that he has a plan to leave Scientology.
Meanwhile, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise were recently spotted grabbing some iced coffee together in NYC. The mother-and-daughter tandem was last seen together on March 27 while leaving their New York home with their two dogs and luggage in tow. It was believed that the two have spent quarantining together at Katie's parents in Ohio where Suri also celebrated her 14th birthday on April 18.
