Kpop fans were shocked by the sudden death of TST vocalist Yohan, who was only 28 years old.
According to a report by Koreaboo, Yohan's death was revealed by an exclusive report from SPOTV. The cause of his death was not revealed because of his family's request.
The death of Yohan, whose real name was Kim Jeong Hwan, came as a shock to fans who actively followed him on social media. They said that they did not find anything unusual with his posts.
One of his last posts was from two weeks ago where he shared a wistful message that he wanted to travel again. The posts contained shots of Yohan different scenic locations, CNA Lifestyle reported.
It can be recalled that Yohan originally debuted with the group NOM in 2015. He later joined TST in 2017 as one of the group's vocalists. Throughout his short career, he was well loved by the fans. TST had their last comeback in January this year before many groups had to lie low on activities because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their last song was called Count Down.
In their statement, Yohan's label KJ Entertainment urged media outlets reporting about Yohan's death to refrain from making speculations about his passing. They also called for respect for the family's wishes. The label expressed their sorrow and condolences on the death of their artist, All kpop reported
According to reports, his mortuary will take place at the Severance Hospital in Sinchon while his funeral procession will be on June 18. He will be buried at the Yongin Catholic Park Cemetery but it is yet unknown if fans will be allowed to pay their respects.
Without any immediate avenue to express their grief and shock at Yohan's sudden death, fans flocked to his Instagram account to express their deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones.
They also expressed their love for the singer through their flood of posts. Many fans said that it was so sad to know of the news of his death. They said that they wished more people knew about Yohan who had a beautiful soul.
