The Cupertino tech giant Apple introduced the 2020 iPhone SE a few months ago. The entry-level iPhone features the A13 Bionic chip similar to that of the current generation iPhone 11 series. Surprisingly, a new concept image reveals some interesting details about the 2022 iPhone SE.

On the social networking site Twitter, Russian concept maker iFinder shared the concept image of the 2022 iPhone SE. Based on the photo, the upcoming 2022 iPhone SE shares the same look as the 2018 iPhone XR. It has slimmer bezels a notch located at the topmost part, which might house a single rear camera sensor and Apple's Face ID.

It is worth noting that Apple did the same with the iPhone 8, so it could likely be the same thing on the upcoming 2022 iPhone SE. But, it is just a concept, and many things could happen. Apple might have a different plan for the iPhone SE series a couple of years from now.

Earlier reports claimed that the Cupertino tech giant might debut a much bigger version of this year's iPhone SE, and might call it iPhone SE Plus. Speculations about this particular version of the iPhone SE have been rife online since 2019. The said model might arrive in the market in 2021 and could sport a full-screen design but might drop the Face ID.

Rumors have it that instead of the usual Face ID feature, the 2021 iPhone SE Plus might house a Touch ID. It might arrive with a fingerprint reader that could be integrated on the power button located at the device's side. In regards to the 2022 iPhone SE internals, Wccftech speculates that it might house Apple's A15 Bionic chip intended for the 2021 iPhone line up.

Additionally, the 2022 iPhone SE might come with 4 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The A15 Bionic chip might be founded on a 4nm or 3nm node, according to whispers online. Apple will most likely source the next generation Bionic chip from TSMC and would most likely take the best the semicon maker has to offer.

Meanwhile, the Cupertino tech giant will hold its WWDC 2020 on Jun 22. Many tech enthusiasts anticipate that it might be the venue for Apple to launch its upcoming iPhone 12 series. Several industry insiders earlier claimed that Apple might launch the rumored MacBook ARM at the said event.

It is worth mentioning that the image shared by iFinder is just a concept of what he believes the 2022 iPhone SE would look like.
