NCTzens are divided over the issue of Taeyong's bullying controversy. While many remain supportive by flooding social media with messages to show their love, some groups have started a petition calling for his removal from NCT.
According to a report from Kpopmap, a petition is now circulating online calling for his removal from NCT 127. The petition said that both NCT U and NCT 127 received a lot of hate because of Taeyong's bullying controvery and it is unfair for other members to be criticized because of the action of one member.
The petition further said that even NCT Dream is having a hard time because of Taeyong even though he has nothing to do with the group.Some fans agreed with the petition and said that Taeyong should have the decency to step down from the group to protect his members.
Meanwhile, some doubted that SM Entertainment will do anything about it because of the attention they have been putting on the artist, despite his previous bad behavior. Taeyong was even included in SM Entertainment's SuperM, which launched in the US last year.
It can be recalled that NCT's Taeyong continues to be hounded by controversy stemming from previous bullying allegations as an informant recently threatened to release incriminating evidence against the Kpop idol.
According to a report from All Kpop, an informant idenfied only as A claimed that he has an audio recording of his talk with a legal representative from Taeyong which he will reveal in the wake of harassment from the idol's fans.
In his community post, informant A claimed that he and his classmate, identified only as B have been the subject of harassment from Taeyong's fans, after they first stepped forward to reveal his bullying behavior in middle school.
A accused fans of invading his privacy, looking onto his identity, his home and workplace. He warned SM Entertainment that it will not be his fault if he releases the audio recording since it was the fans who were harassing him continuously.
The alleged recording was reportedly taken from the time Taeyong met with with victim B last year to apologize for his past actions. A was also present during the meeting and a representative for Taeyong also witnessed the conversation.A said that he is planning to contact a news agency to expose part of the recording which involves Taeyong's legal representative.
