Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's upcoming biography Finding Freedom, written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, is apparently raising some concerns among royal aides. They fear a backlash for Prince William, who might be written out as the villain of the story, thus the book is, reportedly, being redrafted to change some details.

But Scobie took to Twitter to correct the reports that stated the book is being rewritten. The author said that the manuscript to Finding Freedom was signed off before they made the announcement of the book's release so there is no way to correct and make changes.

Scobie said that he has to retweet his message every week because the rumors about the redraft has been persistent. He said that insiders claiming to know the contents of the book are actually just making guesses.

Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of A Modern Royal Family is earmarked for an August 11 release. Days after the announcement of the book's publication, the biography instantly shot to the best-selling spot for pre-orders at Amazon.

Scobie and Durand said this biography will go beyond the headlines and detail the truth about what Prince Harry and Meghan really wanted when they decided to quit their royal life. It's supposed to clear the air of misconceptions and speculations that have marked the royal family, amid the drama of Prince Harry and Meghan's exit.

Allegedly, one of the misconceptions that the book will address includes the fact that it was Prince Harry who wanted out of the royal family, when others have been blaming Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. Sources said that the Duke of Sussex has been lonely for some time and didn't think continuing his royal work was his path.

It's not the first time Prince Harry has talked about leaving his charmed life and destiny. He told another biographer Angela Levin in a rare interview several years ago that he wanted out of the royal family but decided to stick around work out his role as the spare to the heir. The press dubbed Prince Harry as the reluctant prince.

Meanwhile, Finding Freedom, will apparently also give royal fans access to the more personal details of Prince Harry and Meghan's life and work together. The authors were given clearance to shadow the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for months as they served their royal duties for the Crown until their exit last March 31.
