Katie Holmes has been rumored to have added a new member of the family: a baby boy. A tabloid alleged the Dawson's Creek actress secretly adopted a baby brother for her teen daughter, Suri Cruise.
According to Woman's Day, Holmes took home a child at her and Suri's home in New York City. The tabloid also shared two photos of the actress while holding a baby and pushing a stroller while strolling in NYC.
It quoted a source as saying Katie recently finalized the adoption of a six-month-old baby boy. Apparently, the mother and daughter have been talking about adopting ever since Holmes broke up with Jamie Foxx last year.
The source claimed the Batman Begins actress has always wanted to have a big family. She, apparently, wants to have at least four children and one of the reasons why she left Tom Cruise was that the actor doesn't want to have another child. The Mission: Impossible actor has a daughter with Holmes and two adopted during his marriage to Nicole Kidman.
Gossip Cop completely dismissed the rumor. The publication noted that while it's true that Holmes was seen pushing a stroller, it wasn't for her supposed baby boy. The little one is the child of one of Katie's friends whom she met up while on a walk a couple of weeks ago. Several entertainment sites have confirmed that the actress was out with a friend.
After months away from the public eye, the 42-year-old mother of one is back in New York and she was recently spotted out for a walk around their neighborhood. Clad in loose-fitting jeans, white top, multi-colored scarf, and black flats, Katie was seen walking through the park with a friend and her baby. At one point, Holmes was seen pushing the stroller.
Gossip Cop also pointed out how Woman's Day seemed to be confused with its own story. The outlet noted that in the headline, it claimed that the First Daughter actress adopted a baby boy but in its inside story, it said Holmes is still "finalizing" the process of the adoption.
Gossip Cop added this is also not the first time that Woman's Day claimed Holmes has adopted a baby boy. Last year, the same tabloid alleged the Ray Donovan actress traveled to Greece not to visit Syrian refugees. It claimed Katie's visit was a cover to her real intention in the place and that was to adopt a baby boy.
The publication also noted that Woman's Day has been notorious in publishing false stories about Katie Holmes. Last month, it claimed that Suri had found the secret love letters between her parents. Both rumors have been debunked since.
