Prince Harry is a huge sports fan and has been a patron of a couple of organizations such as the Rugby Football Union (RFU). The Duke of Sussex has always shown support, but because of the coronavirus pandemic, he shared that he missed the game in RFU's latest Instagram update.

Despite his heartfelt message, Prince Harry faced backlash after some England Rugby fans didn’t like his appearance in the video. Many were furious that he was in the clip after he turned his back on the Royal Family and the UK to start a new life in the US.

"WHY would you put Harry in your excellent video when he defected from the crown and country? He isn’t loyal!!!” one angry fan wrote. "Why the hell is Harry in this? He abandoned his country and still wants to be relevant,” another one shared.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said in their withdrawal announcement that they want to live a “peaceful life” outside the royal family. The couple probably believed that stepping down as senior royals would lessen the criticism, but what’s happening now is the other way around.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex received even more backlash after their royal exit, especially that it happened during the coronavirus crisis. Many believed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle abandoned the UK when it needed them the most.

An Express poll previously asked the readers if Prince William and Kate Middleton have stepped up after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal exit. The answer was clear with 88 percent voted “Yes,” under 10 percent voted “No,” and two percent were undecided.

Some of the voters then explained their reasons why they believe that Prince William and Kate Middleton stepped up after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s withdrawal. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge received a lot of praise for doing a great job, but one royal fan criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for "running for the hills.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton are considered to be two of the busiest members of the Royal Family during the coronavirus pandemic. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have ramped up their royal engagements while Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles remain in isolation.

If Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were still senior royals, they would definitely be a great help for Prince William and Kate Middleton with their royal duties. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their withdrawal from being senior royals back in January and they officially turned their backs on royal life at the end of March.
