Jennifer Garner is rumored to be the front-runner among several other actresses that would likely play the role of Melania Trump in a biopic about the First Lady. About a year ago, the Alias actress was reported to be in talks about the role, but until now, there has been no confirmation of the said project.

The interest in Melania Trump's biopic has been renewed following the release of a new unauthorized biography of the First Lady. Washington Post reporter Mary Jordan released her new book, titled The Art of Her Deal, in which she offered some insight about Melania's life before and after her move to the White House and her role in the Trump administration.

Life & Style published an article last year that alleged Garner was the top choice to portray FLOTUS for the project that will be based on the "rags to riches life story" of the former model. The tabloid claimed it was a coveted role and it would be a game-changer to whoever lands the part.

It claimed that the movie or miniseries would focus on how Melania pursued her American dream through modeling. It would also, reportedly, show how she met and married the then-real estate mogul Donald Trump, and later on, became the First Lady of the United States.

It could indeed be the most coveted role today but unfortunately, the supposed Melania Trump biopic is not true. Gossip Cop noted that up to this date, no film studio has claim involvement in the project about the life of Trump's wife.

In addition, there was also no confirmation from Garner. The publication said when the actress' name was first linked to the supposed biopic, it reached out to a source close to Ben Affleck's ex-wife, who confirmed that the Life & Style story was not true.

Gossip Cop also stressed that this wasn't the first time that the tabloid published a story about a supposed biopic of a known personality. It previously claimed Leonardo DiCaprio would be playing Bruce Springsteen in a movie. It also speculated that Justin Bieber would portray George Michael on the big screen. Both stories were debunked.

It also noted that Life & Style has been notoriously wrong in its stories about Garner. Two months ago, it claimed that the actress told Affleck that his girlfriend, Ana de Armas, was only using him for his fame

It also published a story insisting that the Love, Simon actress did not want de Armas around her three children with Affleck. Both stories were dismissed as well.

At the moment, Garner is tied up in her upcoming Netflix comedy film, Yes Day. The movie has no release date yet. The Peppermint actress also starred in the comedy miniseries, Home Movie: The Princess Bride. It premiered on June 29 on Quibi.
