Jennifer Lopez has been honest about her desire to have a baby with her fiance, Alex Rodriguez, and a tabloid made a claim based on this. It alleged that JLo and ARod scrapped their planned wedding and instead, they decided to have a baby.

According to Heat, the couple already made a decision not to push through with their wedding as it has been delayed a couple of times already. Lopez and Rodriguez, allegedly, decided to have a baby instead of getting married.

Since everything has been put on hold, including their wedding, the tabloid assumed that Alex and the Hustlers actress would take advantage of their free time to add to their already big family. Both have two children from their respective previous marriages.

The tabloid claimed the MBL star and Lopez are sure that they are going to spend the rest of their lives together even when they don't get officially married. So, Heat assumed that the couple would rather have a child than a wedding. It also alleged that JLo and ARod are considering trying IVF.

It wouldn't be surprising if the 50-year-old pop superstar and Rodriquez announced that they are expecting because, in several interviews, Lopez admitted that she wants to have more kids. She told People in a December 2019 interview that she would like to try to have more children with Alex.

However, Gossip Cop pointed out that it is unlikely for the couple to forgo their wedding to have a child. In her most recent interview with The Today Show, Lopez doesn't show any indication that her current plans point in that direction.

The Maid In Manhattan actress confirmed that they are not planning anything at the moment and they are on a "wait and see" how things will develop in the coming months. This means, Lopez is still looking forward to exchanging vows with Rodriguez and that she is not abandoning that plan at all.

Moreover, in her appearance at the Ellen DeGeneres Show in April, Lopez also talked about her wedding that has been put on hold. Ellen said the actress and Alex should consider to have a TikTok wedding when the pandemic will drag for more months. Lopez said they might consider that suggestion.

Gossip Cop also noted that a couple of months ago it also debunked the story from Heat's sister publication, NW. The tabloid published a story claiming Lopez was pregnant with a "miracle baby."
