Meghan Markle was an actress before she tied the knot with Prince Harry in 2018. The Duchess of Sussex had to turn her back on Hollywood to be the wife of the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana.
But just two years after their marriage, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals to make a fresh start in the US. The couple is currently residing in Los Angeles with their son, Archie, where they are expected to stay permanently.
And since they are not working royals anymore, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have some extra time on their hands to do other things. Multiple reports revealed that the couple has their eyes on the entertainment industry. In fact, the Duchess of Sussex lent her voice to a Disney documentary titled Elephant back in August last year.
Now, a new report claims that Meghan Markle is giving out a sign that she is indeed returning to acting. In a recent video with Prince Harry for the Queen's Commonwealth Trust, the Duchess of Sussex sported a Hollywood-style hair-do.
Instead of her usual sleek middle part, which became Meghan Markle’s signature royal hairstyle, the Duchess of Sussex had a side-swept part. The report noted that this kind of hairstyle was the one that Meghan was known for when she was still an actress. And because of this alleged hint, some believed that the wife of Prince Harry is indicating that she’s ready to go back to her former career.
Meanwhile, actor Laurence Fox previously shared that he believes that the reason Meghan Markle and Prince Harry withdrew from their senior royal roles is that the former actress was “denied limelight” in the UK. He noted that the Duchess of Sussex’s background as an actress gave her an “enormous ego” and the “desire to be the center of attention.”
A previous report also claimed that Meghan Markle wants to make a good impression when visiting her A-lister acquaintances. Since Prince Harry gained a couple of pounds, the former actress has allegedly ordered him to lose some extra weight. The insider added that she also wanted to give her husband a wardrobe makeover to fit the Hollywood elite vibe.
But due to the current coronavirus pandemic lockdown, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will have to wait to get their chance to meet with Hollywood’s finest.
