The Cupertino tech company is anticipated to launch its flagship iPhone series in September. If the recent claim is accurate, it seems that a lot of iPhone fans would be a bit disappointed with Apple's strategy.
iPhone 12 Inner Box Concept
On Twitter, ConceptsiPhone shared a photo of the alleged inner box or packaging of the iPhone 12 series. The photo is a render and seems to have a very low profile, suggesting that the upcoming handset would not pack a charger or wired EarPods. The circular portion is also noticeable, which could be for the USB-C Lightning cable.
Additionally, the iPhone 12 inner box render shows a square area, which could house stickers and other paper works that Apple usually pack with the handset. The look of the inner box appears spacious enough to fit the upcoming flagship iPhone 12. However, it is not deep enough to hold the wired EarPods and charger.
The concept designer RanAvni1 claims that while the photo is just a render, it is 100% real. He cited a reliable source for the information where the concept is based. Unlike other tipsters, RanAvni1 is not a traditional source for leaks and rumors related to the iPhone. He further stated that the actual packaging of the iPhone 12 would be much thinner for lesser waste in line with Apple's priority.

It appears that other industry insiders and analysts all seem to agree with claims that Apple would ditch the charger and wired EarPods when it releases the iPhone 12. Although the industry could not confirm the veracity of this concept, it aligns with the claim Twitter user Lovetodream earlier shared. A few days ago, the tipster said the same claim on Apple's strategy in regards to the release of the iPhone 12 series.
