Prince Charles and Camilla embarked on a three-day trip to the Duchy of Cornwall from July 20 to 22, after lockdown measures were eased down in the U.K. The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall appear to enjoy their trip as they were snapped laughing and in good spirits with the people of the various organizations they visited.

The royal couple were with key workers of the St Austell GP surgery Tueday, July 21, to acknowledge their efforts during the public health crisis. Prince Charles was cracking jokes with the healthcare staff and, at one point, animatedly threw his hands up in the air as he laughed with the workers.

On a more serious note, Prince Charles also gave a speech to thank the people at the surgery for their hard work. The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall also stuck around for a little while to chat with the locals, while observing social distancing.

At another venue with the local volunteers of the Treverbyn Community Hall, Prince Charles was, once again, seen laughing and joking, much to the amusement of his wife and the locals. The couple ate the food and delicacies the people prepared in the outdoor event but the royals were not seen wearing a mask.

After spending some time with the volunteers, Prince Charles and Camilla met with the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust for the naming ceremony of the facility's new chopper. In the middle of the event, however, the emergency alarm sounded off, startling the Duchess of Cornwall, who said that she's keeping her fingers crossed for the emergency patient who needed medical care.

A day earlier, Prince Charles and Camilla were at the ribbon cutting ceremony of the newly-restored bridge at the Tintagel Castle. Visitors to this beautiful site may be able to observe the gorgeous view from 190 feet up the gorge. The bridge, which has connections to the legend of King Arthur, was, originally, built during the middle ages.

Camilla kept telling her husband the whole time they were on the bridge that she won't be looking down. The Duchess of Cornwall, admittedly, has a fear of heights and actually hates flying.

Prince Charles and Camilla visit Cornwall and Devon annually as the Prince of Wales own much of the private lands in this seaside region. The Duchy of Cornwall is where the heir to the throne receives the funds to support his children, Prince William and Prince Harry.
