Prince Harry’s friend is not too happy with the claims about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in a new book. Dean Stott even said that the content in the book was no different from that in tabloids. He claimed that the only difference is that it was in a hardback.

Stott pointed out that the book didn’t focus on the good things that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had done and are doing. Instead, it finds something to criticize about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which is what the tabloids are known for doing.

"I think what we are reading here is no different from what we have read in the tabloids it is now just on a hardback. You have got an author’s persona, it is still not guaranteed that it has come from them. I just think it is another sort of attack like the tabloids trying to persecute them,” he said.

Stott did note that he understands that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are public figures, and criticisms are, unfortunately, part of their lives. However, he wished that people would focus on the couple’s charity work, and not “their intimate privacies.”

One of the reasons for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s withdrawal is for them to live a more peaceful life. But, because of their popularity, a previous report shared that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will “never get the privacy they crave” despite their royal exit.

Ex-royal protection officer Simon Morgan said that even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already withdrawn from their roles, there will always be interest in them. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are two of the most popular members of the Royal Family. So, people will always want to know more about them and what they’re doing even though they have already turned their backs on royal life.

In fact, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son will still be a prince despite their effort to distance him from the royal bubble. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had a love-hate relationship with the media for quite a long time, and they decided to completely avoid the spotlight to protect their son.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wished to raise Archie as a private citizen. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex registered their son as Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor even though the little boy was entitled to take his father’s subsidiary title Earl of Dumbarton.
