Bethesda Game Studios is reportedly ramping up work on "Starfield" and "The Elder Scrolls 6," according to rumors. The gaming studio has remained silent about its upcoming projects following its official reveals. According to Bethesda executive, fans would only know more about "The Elder Scrolls 6" after the release of "Starfield."

"The Elder Scrolls 6" And "Starfield" Status

Bethesda Game Studios stood by its recent statement that it would not reveal any official information about "The Elder Scrolls 6" until the release of "Starfield." But this does not mean that there would be a shortage of leaks and rumors about the studio's most awaited projects. A new job listing is now the subject of many speculations on the status of the development of both games.

The latest job listing that went live on the official website of Bethesda's parent company Zenimax was spotted by Gaming Bolt. The listing suggests that development on the studio's next game is in full swing, the report stated. The listing is for the position of Lighting Artist, which includes in the description that Bethesda is pushing the bleeding-edge triple-A game development releasing for Consoles and PC.

Nowhere in the job listing does it directly mention "Starfield" or "The Elder Scrolls 6." But, fans are quick to speculate about this, considering that Bethesda earlier acknowledged that these titles are upcoming. It would be a while before the industry could get new official information about these titles.

"Starfield" Rumors

Based on Bethesda Game Studios' earlier announcement, "Starfield" is a sci-fi RPG and is the first new title of the studio in 25 years. The gaming studio has reportedly prioritized the development of the game and intends to release it on the next-generation gaming consoles. Apparently, it is the main priority of Bethesda Game Studios, and the other parts of its team are allegedly working on "The Elder Scrolls 6" and "Fallout 3."

It is unknown if "Starfield" would be available to current-generation gaming consoles' PS4 and Xbox One. However, Bethesda's Todd Howard earlier confirmed that the game releasing on next-gen consoles is not out of the question. A couple of years ago, at the E3 2018, the industry learned that some parts of "Starfield" are already playable, which suggested that it could be arriving sooner than anticipated.

In the case of "The Elder Scrolls 6," a previous Bethesda executive's interview bared that the team intends the game to be played for at least ten years. The gaming studio also assured fans that more information about "TES 6" would be available as soon as the release of "Starfield."
