Princess Beatrice's new husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi, apparently, got a reprimand from Buckingham Palace. A few royal correspondents said that he was likely told to take down photos from his own wedding day as they were not to be made public.

Chris Ship and Lizzie Robinson of the ITV Royal Rota revealed that Edo had to delete some photos from his wedding to Princess Beatrice after he shared these on social media. They said that Buckingham Palace ordered him to take those down because the royal courtiers didn't give clearance for its release in public.

The Palace had two wedding pictures from Princess Beatrice and Edo's special day posted on their social media pages some 24 hours after the affair. Then, Edo, apparently, "sneaked" a few more photos online, featuring the family, which included a photo of his son from a previous relationship.

Then, Buckingham Palace released another set of wedding photos to total five publicly-released images from the wedding. However, Ship and Robinson said that one photo from Edo's posts could no longer be seen on his Instagram. Ship said that they saw the picture before its deletion and the royal journalists concluded that Buckingham Palace likely stepped in.

Another royal correspondent said that Edo "scooped" Buckingham Palace and released photos from his wedding on his social media first. Ann Gripper and Russell Myers discussed in the podcast show Pod Save the Queen that Edo was likely giddy with excitement when he failed to follow royal protocol.

Gripper and Myers said that Edo's post was "hastily taken down" after the gaffe. Apparently, the Queen had a special engagement that day as he knighted the centenarian and fundraiser Sir Thomas Moore in Windsor Castle. Thus, the Palace had to hold off releasing the wedding photos to prevent overshadowing another important event.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice and Edo are, currently, on their honeymoon in France. Similar to their small-scale wedding, this trip is also nothing luxurious.

However, sources told People that Princess Beatrice and Edo are planning a bigger honeymoon in August. This likely means that the couple won't be joining Queen Elizabeth for their summer get together in Balmoral, which is also taking place next month.

Princess Beatrice and Edo were originally set to get married on May 29 but they had to change their wedding plans amid the coronavirus pandemic. Buckingham Palace closed in the middle of March and canceled all garden events, including their wedding reception. In the end, however, Princess Beatrice and Edo's secret ceremony, with only 30 guests, turned out to be the most romantic and meaningful royal wedding in the modern history of the monarchy.
