A new leak reveals the next location of the much-awaited game, "Grand Theft Auto 6," or simply "GTA 6." At the PlayStation Digital event, Sony announced that "GTA 5" would be released on the PS5. Despite the ebb of rumors and leaks about "GTA 6," Rockstar Games has been silent on the existence of the title.

"GTA Online Major Updates"

The latest information about the location of Rockstar Games' "GTA 6" came from a "GTA" insider named markothemexicam. The tipster, according to Dexerto, has proven reliable with some of GTA-related leaks. According to the insider, the next major update of "GTA Online" would focus on 'elite prostitution business.'

Allegedly, this would lead to the building opening of the Mile High Club. The tipster added that this would be followed by the final major update rolling out on December 2020, which would introduce the earlier announced heist. At this said update, Rockstar Games would reportedly introduce an all-new location, Liberty City.

The tipster further claimed that Niko Bellic, the main protagonist in "GTA IV" would return and would be voiced by Michael Hollocik. The heist would involve the taking of the city's gold reserves. New free mode activities and Quick jobs would be introduced in the update, the tipster noted. To be able to achieve all these, Rockstar Games would reportedly remaster Liberty City visually for "GTA 5."

"GTA 6" Location And Other Details

In the leak, the tipster also talked briefly about the much-awaited game "GTA 6." Just like previous leaks, the insider believes that the much-awaited title would be set in Vice City at a past era. Unfortunately, the tipster did not say which era the rumored title would be set. There would be distinct weather systems that would impart a huge impact on the world and on the NPCs, the tipster added.

While the tipster did not elaborate on the release date of "GTA 6," he noted that it would be announced in 2021. "GTA 6" is one of the heavily-rumored games that has not yet been confirmed or announced. Rockstar Games has not told anything official about the game.

It is worth mentioning that like all the other "GTA 6" leaks and rumors, these details are unofficial. In this case, take this information with skepticism. With "GTA 5" scheduled to arrive on next-gen console's Xbox Series X and PS5, it is highly likely that the game developer is now focused on polishing the game for its imminent release. That said, Rockstar Games might start talking about "GTA 6" at the later part of the 2020 or in the early part of 2021.
