Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil now has a way out of the Emirates. Reports said the Gunners are ready to pay off the German playmaker to get him out of the club this summer. Either he will collect a lump sum or Arsenal will subsidize Ozil's salary with a new team.

These are the offers that the Arsenal board will present to the player, who was dropped from the squad by manager Mikel Arteta when the Premier League resumed in June. The club boss has indicated Ozil will no longer figure on his future game plans.

However, the 31-year-old's deal with Arsenal will not end until next year and he has stated that he would see out his contract with or without playing time. That should mean Emirates will have to pay Ozil's weekly wage of £350,000 and the player will remain in the stands.

The Mirror reported that Arsenal wants to end the stalemate. A compromise hatched by the club would see Ozil voluntarily leaving with a sizeable portion of the expected £18 million that he stands to collects through the end of his contract.

Or Ozil can seal a deal with a new team and Arsenal will be paying part of his salary. The report, however, did not mention if the player is amenable to the deal. In recent months, Ozil rejected to take a pay cut that the Arsenal board requested to the financial impact of the coronavirus lockdown.

In any case, there is no indication yet where the German will play next. It is believed that Ozil is considering the possibility of bringing his game to Turkey since his wife lives in the country and big Turkish clubs are reportedly interested to hire the World Cup winner.

Ozil can also head to the United States and sign up with an MLS club but according to Metro, no concrete offers have been sent to Ozil's side on this matter.

For Arsenal, getting the winger off the books is a top priority as the club must free up the needed cash to fund the planned summer signings by Arteta. The Spaniard's target signings for the upcoming transfer window will reportedly cost an estimated £100 million.

Said to be on top of Arteta's list are Brazilian stars Willian and Philippe Coutinho. The latter is tipped to make the switched from Barcelona to Arsenal on a loan deal next season.

Willian, on the other hand, has already announced his exit from Chelsea and he is believed to wear the Arsenal shirt next.

Arsenal will also sign top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to a new deal, which will reportedly give the Gabon striker a weekly wage of £300,000. To finance these expenditures, the North London club is expected to offload key players such as Matteo Guendouzi and Sokratis.
