George Clooney is planning for his future - his own funeral. One tabloid claims the actor has already set aside $1 million for the send-off which promises to be a star-studded goodbye.

The Globe reported Clooney has been using his free time during COVID-19 to plan his own funeral. A source said Amal Clooney's husband had allotted $1 million for his funeral.

Apparently, "The Descendants" actor has two reasons. Firstly, he doesn't want wife Amal and their twins Ella and Alexander to be bothered with the hassle and expenses of making arrangements. Second was the actor's health. Clooney will be 60 next year.

Clooney suffered a spinal injury doing stunts for "Syriana" in 2005. He was diagnosed with Bell's palsy as a child.

The source said the "Ocean's Eleven" star had been planning the details of his funeral including what he will wear. He has listed the stars he wants to attend.

Clooney wants a Hollywood style send-off in a big cathedral. On top of his list are Westminster Abbey in London and St. Patrick's in New York.

Gossip Cop called the story ridiculous. Clooney may be making future arrangements but it was ridiculous he would spend $1 million on the event.

The publication added it would be rare if Bell's palsy would recur or could result in a stroke.

As for the church Gossip Cop said the Globe made random guesses. Westminster Abbey is an Anglican cathedral and St. Patrick's is Catholic. Clooney has no affiliation with either although he was raised a Catholic.
