Suga is one of the smaller members of BTS. He stands 175cm tall, or 5’9″, and weighs around 59kg, or 130lbs. The “Daechwita” rapper has maintained his same weight for quite a long time, and he even sometimes tries to shed a few pounds before BTS tours and his own solo activities.

With his small frame, it is easy to speculate that Suga doesn't like food that much. But the BTS rapper revealed in one of his live broadcasts with J-Hope that his appetite is actually the opposite of what everybody thinks.

Suga and J-Hope went on Vlive to talk to fans while putting on some facial masks. The pair talked about skincare and health. They also discussed the importance of diet and controlling how much they eat.

The "Interlude: Shadow" rapper shared that he eats for eight hours starting from the time he wakes up. This method is called intermittent fasting. This way, Suga can control his food intake, especially while out on tour.

But then J-Hope shared that gaining weight is a part of the band members' lives when they are on tour. Suga added that there isn’t any food he dislikes.

He admitted that he had heard of comments saying that he looked like someone who could be a picky eater. Suga quickly explained that he likes all types of food. The BTS rapper would eat anything presented to him, and this is the exact reason as to why he gains weight.

Meanwhile, another member of BTS that is considered to be on the smaller side is Jimin. The "Filter" singer previously sparked concerns when he dropped a significant amount of weight. The obsession with looking thin in the K-pop industry has been very alarming, but it is clearly still happening.

Jimin shared that he followed a strict diet during the BTS’s “Blood Sweat & Tears” era and admitted that he would go days without eating. He added that the other members had invited him to eat, but he would decline in an effort to shed pounds as quickly as possible.

Supporters then started the hashtag #JiminYouArePerfect after learning about Jimin’s weight loss struggles. This gesture was an effort to make the BTS star realize that he’s already perfect as he is, and it worked. Jimin is no longer obsessed with looking thin and has learned to love himself – just like what BTS is preaching.
