A fresh set of leaks reveals all there is to know about the much-awaited DJI Osmo Mobile 4. Based on the leak, it appears that the successor of the Osmo Mobile 3 gimbal is coming soon. While the next gimbal keeps the major features of its predecessor, it now sports a major improvement.

The DJI Osmo Mobile 4 or simply OM 4" could launch very soon, according to Roland Quandt of WinFuture. The insider shared on his official Twitter account a video short, which shows a couple of mounting mechanisms. This new mounting system allegedly allows users to snap their smartphones into the mount with relative ease quickly

This magnetic mounting system reportedly found on the upcoming DJI Osmo Mobile 4 can use two various attachments. Users can either use it with a clip or a ring attached to the back of their smartphones. The video short shared by the insider shows the new magnetic system in action.

The report also shows the DJI Osmo Mobile 4's gesture control, Activetrack 3.0 capabilities, and panorama. The companion app that comes with the O4 gimbal would come with a story mode, according to the report. It would reportedly enable users to create films using the footage that they took.

The DJI Osmo Mobile 4 also features DynamicZoom. This enables cinema-grade zooming. Meanwhile, Activetrack 3.0 allows users to improve the tracking of objects and people. The upcoming gimbal also features Hyperlapse.

Just like its predecessor, the DJI Osmo Mobile 4 sports a foldable design and a hole in the handle. This is convenient for attaching accessories, especially when the user wants to utilize a tripod. The upcoming gimbal from DJI packs a 2450 maH battery that could last up to 15 hours on a single charge.

The device also comes with a USB-C port for charging. The DJI Osmo Mobile 4 weighs 390 grams and connects with Bluetooth 5.0. While there is no release date yet, the upcoming gimbal would reportedly retail under €150 or $177.

If the latest trailer of the DJI Osmo mobile 4 is accurate, it means that the upcoming gimbal addressed one of the major complaints users have about its predecessor. The DJI Osmo Mobile 3 requires users to slide the smartphone into the claw mount. However, based on the trailer, all the user needs to do is pre-attach the magnetic disk or claw at the back of the smartphone.
