Ivanka Trump turned heads on the second day of the Republican National Convention. Pictures of her, waving as she left her home, went viral on social media.
Several reports shared the exact items she wore that day. But, the accessory that has since caught the eyes of many was her mask. Aside from noting that it matched her dress that day, the fact that she wore one surprised many people.
The Daily Express described Ivanka Trump "elegant" in her $1990 Ralph Lauren shirt dress. The First Daughter utilized a belt for the piece that "cinched in" at the waist, revealing her "hourglass figure." It, also, featured buttons at the center of the dress and slit sleeves that go down from the shoulders to the wrists.
In completing the look, she wore a pair of pumps with small heels of the same color as her dress. She, then, paired the attire with her cream leather clutch to complement the overall style.
As for her accessories, she, reportedly, kept everything simple. She wore matching green earrings and a red string bracelet, which she regularly wears.
Ivanka Trump had, reportedly, worn the same pale green dress in her CNBC interview about two years ago. The only thing different today was that she wore a matching mask.
The publication said that the mask comes with "autumnal colors," like orange and brown. It, also, has hints of green, which seemingly blended well with the other colors. Overall, the mask gave life to the plain, pale green dress.
The reports come after netizens called her out on social media for not wearing a mask. Earlier this week, she went out with Donald Trump in North Carolina to visit a food production plant, according to a separate report from the Daily Express.
Many individuals "slammed" and criticized her for not wearing any face covering, just like her father. But, aside from the mask, netizens, also, reportedly, pointed out that her dress was "inappropriate."
The dress that caught a "media storm" is the $2,000 Lela Rose white dress. Based on photos, it features a two-toned blue floral design that adds vibrant to the plain flat white dress.
Ivanka Trump, then, completed the look with a pair of white stiletto sandals that come with an ankle strap. She, also, had her white handbag with her.
While the look was elegant and classy, it caused a backlash on various social media platforms with netizens calling it "not appropriate" for that specific "setting." As pointed out, their visit to the food plantation was all about the Farmers to Families Food Box Program. The First Daughter, later on, touted that the initiative has already fed about 100 million meals to people since its launch.
