Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly staying at Tyler Perry's mansion as they settled themselves in Los Angeles after their Royal exit. Recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their own multimillion-dollar home in Santa Barbara, California.

The couple's 11.2 million pound ($14.7 million) home boasts nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a rose garden, a tennis court and more. While the place is Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's dream home, their arrival is having a big effect on locals.

According to TMZ, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's "mere presence is driving folks wild." Montecito has been surrounded by paparazzi photographers with helicopters since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's arrival.

The site reported that "most locals" are "super annoyed" about how the area has changed because of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being there. They "tell us they want the paps to give it a rest because they feel things are getting to the point where everyone's privacy is being compromised."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly agreed to pay 32,000 pounds ($43,000) a month in mortgage for the next 30 years. Despite the couple's impressive net worth it would be hard for them to maintain their lavish home without an income.

Although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle still receive funds from Prince Charles and the Duchy of Cornwall, they need to find more sources of income to afford their lifestyle. Rumor has it that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be providing voiceovers and producing documentaries on "worthy causes" - and this is where they will be earning their money.

Earlier reports claimed that there was a possibility that Meghan Markle would return to Hollywood. The Duchess of Sussex was an actress before she met and married Prince Harry in 2018 - so the entertainment industry is a place that feels like home to her. It was also revealed that she was "actively looking" for an agent or manager.

Unfortunately, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's plans came to a screeching halt thanks to the coronavirus outbreak. A royal expert previously said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "need to make money" as they are not earning anything after their royal exit.

"They do need to make money. They've been in Los Angeles since March, they left the Royal Family at the end of March and, as yet, they haven't actually earned anything," Katie Nicholl said.
