'Used or pre-owned Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards now flood the market. Multiple users are currently selling their cards at prices under $500. The sale happened after Nvidia officially announced its new GeForce RTX 3000 series.

Wccftech earlier reported that several gamers rushed to sell their current graphics cards in the used market place. Multiple listings at various sites revealed many used Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards are now selling under $500. Several others are for sale at around $600 to $700.

It looks like Nvidia's official unveiling of its latest GeForce RTX 3000 Ampere series brought an immediate 50% drop in the asking price of GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. This could be due to gamers' enthusiasm to upgrade their machines to the next best GPU available in the market.

The site reported that the ASUS ROG STRIX 2080 Ti 11 GB graphics card is currently selling at $415. Meanwhile, the open-box ZOTAC RT 2080 Ti AMP! is available for just $500. Aside from those, the ACER's NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti OEM models began selling in the DIY segment in Asian Pacific markets, the report added.

These cards are currently on sale in a Chinese store for around $699 with a year's worth of warranty. Unfortunately, there is a purchasing limit of one person on the OEM branded cards. These indicators imply that a lot of Nvidia RTX graphics cards owners are planning to upgrade to the recently announced GeForce RTX 3000 Ampere series.

Earlier, Nvidia dropped several surprises with the official unveiling of GeForce RTS 3000 series cards. The announcement highlighted the beast, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090, which is, by far, the most powerful graphics card the company has ever made. But, the flagship graphics card is also expensive.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 is the obvious upgrade choice of GeForce RTX 2080 Ti owners. However, other models could be ideal for those who find the $1499 price tag as too much for their wallets. Other impressive graphics cards launched earlier today are the GeForce RTX 3070 and the GeForce RTX 3080. These cards could easily win the hearts of PC gamers.

The RTX 3080 retails at $699 and is about 25-30% faster than the RTX 2080 Ti. While the new graphics cards series is now out, it is still recommended that interested buyers should wait for final reviews before making a decision.
