Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly earning hundreds of millions of pounds with their new Netflix deal. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will produce films, documentaries and children's shows for the streaming entertainment service.

Now it has been revealed that Markle and Harry have repaid the renovation costs for Frogmore Cottage. The couple will reimburse the £2.4 million spent during a recent refurbishing and paid for by the Queen from the Sovereign Grant.

A new report claims Markle and Harry were "forced" to pay the Frogmore costs. Royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills said the couple's Netflix deal may have helped them meet the building bill.

"I think the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's hands have been forced this week after it was announced that they'd signed that enormous deal with Netflix," she said. There has been no confirmation about how much money the couple will make from the deal but "it's estimated it could be around 100 million pounds."

Meanwhile, Markle and Harry are currently living in the U.S. after officially stepping down as senior royals at the end of March. And, according to an earlier report, this is what the duchess has always wanted.

Royal photographer Arthur Edwards said Markle had no intention of living in the U.K. after marrying Harry. He claimed that even though taxpayers paid 2.4 million pounds for the refurbishment of Frogmore Cottage Markle had no plans to call it home.

Markle and Harry moved out of Kensington Palace to live at Frogmore when they were still senior royals. The couple intended to stay in a Kensington Palace apartment. The palace has 21 bedrooms.

However, the palace needed a lot of work at the time and ahead of the birth of baby Archie. So, the Queen offered Markle and Harry Frogmore Cottage.

Edwards, who has been taking photographs of Harry since he was born said he noticed a change in Harry's behavior since meeting Markle. He said his relationship with Harry "has gone completely sour" and that they haven't spoken for a year.
