A recently voted-down leak revealing that "Titanfall 3" is in the works, is now gaining traction. The leak also claimed that EA Play would join Game Pass. With the second detail in the leak now confirmed to be true, it gives credence to the tipster's claim about "Titanfall 3."

Reddit user Vitamin-A shared last week that a couple of friends working at EA said that "Titanfall 3" is in development. The said friends also told him that EA Play would join Game Pass. The mods removed the original post with comments on the post highly doubtful about its veracity.

Interestingly, the tipster's claim about EA Play on Game Pass is proven correct. With this, it appears that the tipster's information received an elevated validity, particularly the one about "Titanfall 3." The industry has been hearing a lot of rumors about the title over the past months.

I posted about EA Play joining gamepass last week, as well as Titanfall 3 being deep in development (according to two friends who work at EA). I was downvoted to hell - and now that it’s been confirmed the EA Play is joining gamepass (links below) I hope I’m believed now. (Especially about TF3). from r/GamingLeaksAndRumours

It can be recalled that EA CFO Blake Jorgensen earlier teased about "Titanfall 3." He said that a new installment in the "Titanfall" series is not totally off the table. However, the CFO clarified that the company has no plans for the rumored title at that time.

Jorgensen shared this at the company's earnings briefing when EA was discussing studio acquisitions. The executive also made several comments, particularly on the company's acquisition of Respawn Entertainment. "We were able to bring them into the fold and give them incredible support and it was all driven by the fact that they have incredible talent. It wasn't about Titanfall, no offense to Titanfall. It's an amazing game and maybe you'll see Titanfall some time down the road. But it was really about the team."

The "Titanfall" series has received critical commendations, particularly "Titanfall 2." The game was released earlier this year on Steam and gained a lot of new players. While the game incurred low sales when it released, it has recently seen an increase in popularity.

While it is true that "Titanfall 3" may not be the most anticipated title it has a passionate and thriving community that awaits its announcement and release. One of the reasons why "Titanfall 2" achieved minimal sales was due to its release timing. Respawn released the game right between "Battlefield" and "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

It is worth noting that while these details about "Titanfall 3" are interesting, they are unofficial. Meanwhile, "Titanfall 2" is available on various gaming platforms. The game is playable on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
