There is little doubt that Marvel fans were excited on Saturday evening when they noticed that Chris Evans was trending on Twitter. Some believed that it might have been good news like the Captain America: Civil War star possibly reprising his role as Steve Rogers in a new Marvel Cinematic Universe project.

However, people were in for a shock when it was revealed that Evans had accidentally leaked a NSFW photo on his Instagram stories. Amazingly, the Avengers: Endgame actor has finally broken his silence on the incident and is turning the controversial leak into something that could have a positive effect on the future.

On Saturday, September 12, Chris Evans took part in the Heads Up game that required him to post a video on his social media accounts. The Avengers: Infinity War star decided to share the video on his Instagram stories and didn't think too much about it at first.

However, fans who checked on the post immediately noticed that Evans was not able to trim the video that ended with his personal camera roll, which happened to show several photos including one of an erect manhood. Although Evans quickly deleted the video from his Instagram, fans were able to take screenshots of the image, which was then leaked all over the internet.

Not surprisingly, people got curious and it didn't take long before Chris Evans started trending on Twitter. Interestingly, the screenshots would eventually vanish from the application as fans decided to clear the actor's searches by sharing wholesome photos of Evans with his dog and positive messages about him.

At one point, even his Avengers co-star Mark Ruffalo tweeted to assure Evans that his "accident" isn't as embarrassing as anything that U.S. president Donald Trump has done. The tweet from Ruffalo may have given Evans an idea on how to turn the controversy into something positive.

On Monday, September 14, Chris Evans took to his official Twitter account to finally address the incident that somehow exposed him to his fans. Although his message was brief, it was also a powerful one. "Now that I have your attention," Evans wrote before adding the facepalm emoji and the shrugging emoji then concluding with, "VOTE Nov 3rd!!!"

It's great to see that Chris Evans is taking his embarrassment aside to make sure that all the attention is used for a good cause. After all, the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election is a more important event that should decide the country's future. Hopefully, U.S. citizens will listen to Evans and make their voices heard in November.
