There are already several fan theories about what will happen in The Mandalorian Season 2. After all, the first teaser for the second season had enough footage to have people speculating about Din Djarin and Baby Yoda's new adventures.

But is it possible that the Disney+ series will actually introduce the live-action version of a character that originally appeared in Star Wars Rebels? Some believe it's time for Sabine Wren to finally take back the Darksaber that is now in the possession of Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian Season 2.

In the first season's final episode, fans thought that Din Djarin managed to defeat Moff Gideon by blowing up the TIE Fighter he was piloting. However, the last moment of the season finale revealed that Gideon survived the crash and managed to cut his way out of the destroyed starfighter. Interestingly, the weapon he was using turned out to be the Darksaber, the legendary Mandalorian weapon that was last seen in Star Wars Rebels.

The appearance of the Darksaber in The Mandalorian immediately had fans worried about Lady Bo-Katan Kryze, who was the last person to be in possession of the weapon. However, hope was brought back when it was confirmed that The Mandalorian Season 2 has cast Katee Sackhoff as the live-action version of the character she voiced in Star Wars Rebels. But will Bo-Katan need help in getting the Darksaber back from Moff Gideon?

People have been pointing out that Sabine Wren is one of the characters who should show up in The Mandalorian Season 2 now that it has been confirmed that Bo-Katan Kryze will appear in the Star Wars series. After all, it was Sabine who originally possessed the Darksaber before giving it to Bo-Katan and establishing the latter as the true leader of Mandalore. Fans believe that Sabine would be the best person to take on Moff Gideon and ultimately reclaim the Darksaber.

Although the idea of Sabine Wren making her live-action debut in The Mandalorian Season 2 is a welcome one for fans, it is important to point out that this has not yet been confirmed by Disney and Lucasfilm. Likewise, it is still unclear whether the Darksaber will play a major role in the second season of the Star Wars series. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

The Mandalorian Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on October 31.
