Following the series of leaked screenshots allegedly taken from "Starfield," another wave of screen-captured images based on the game's 2018 build surfaced online.

The fresh set of images was shared by YouTuber ESO, who got them from JustDom, whose source is an alleged Bethesda employee. All of the new images come from the game's 2018 build. You can check out the video below for the latest "Starfield" images.

Meanwhile, talks about "Starfield" started to make rounds when Microsoft acquired ZeniMax, the mother company of Bethesda Game Studios. Some fans are wondering if the recent acquisition would make future Bethesda games exclusive to Xbox and Windows PC. Among the upcoming titles that could exclusively release to Microsoft's gaming platforms are "Starfield" and "The Elder Scrolls 6."

The Redmond-based company's earlier statement mentioned that they would decide on Bethesda games' exclusivity on a case to case basis. Interestingly, a recent blog from Xbox Gaming Partnerships and Ecosystem VP Sarah Bond seemingly clarified something about this particular issue. In her statement, Bond mentioned that what makes her most excited about is the roadmap of Bethesda's future titles arriving on Xbox console and PC, including "Starfield."

It is worth mentioning that the executive did not use the term exclusively when she said about the gaming platform of future Bethesda games. In fact, she was cautious in treading on this issue. While Bond did not say games like "Starfield" would exclusively launch on Xbox and PC, her statement implies that it might be releasing on Xbox and PC.

At this point, it is hard to conclude that "Starfield" or "The Elder Scrolls 6" would exclusively launch on Microsoft's gaming platforms. It is possible that Microsoft and Bethesda are still working out on this issue following the recent acquisition, which cost the Redmond tech giant a whopping $7.5 billion.

Meanwhile, the first person to leak "Starfield" images on Imgur previously claimed that Bethesda plans to release the game in 2021. "Starfield" has been in development for quite some time, but it seems that it is still far from its release. The sci-fi title was launched during E3 2018.

Last year, a Bethesda executive mentioned that "The Elder Scrolls 6" fans would hear more about the game after the release of "Starfield." If the latest rumor about the game's release date is to be believed, "TES 6" fans will learn more about the game a few months from now. Since these images are unconfirmed and unofficial, it is smarter to take these with a pinch of salt.
