The premise of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series that would focus on Loki is still a mystery for fans but people can rest assured that it will feature Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief. But is it possible that Hiddleston isn't the only one who will portray the Son of Jotunheim in the new Disney+ show? Several speculations point out that the MCU series could feature multiple versions of Loki including Old Loki.

There is little doubt that the events in Avengers: Endgame made it possible for Loki to continue existing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe although the character had already been killed of in Avengers: Infinity War. After all, Endgame introduced a Loki who had just been arrested after the Battle of New York but managed to escape by getting his hands on the Tesseract.

Naturally, this would mean that the Loki series will follow the past Loki who never went through everything that happened since the first Avengers movie. On the other hand, there are speculations that Tom Hiddleston's version of the God of Mischief isn't the only one who will have a major role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe show.

Richard E. Grant had already confirmed on Twitter that he will be joining the cast of the Loki series, pointing out that he and Tom Hiddleston have wanted to work together on a project for a long time. However, most fans were more focused on the fact that the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor decided to post a photo of himself along with Hiddleston's. As some pointed out, the similarity between the two is rather striking.

Not surprisingly, the post had people wondering if Richard E. Grant has been cast as an older version of Loki that could come from an alternative timeline or dimension. This would be an interesting move considering that Marvel fans believe that there will be more than just one Loki in the show. However, it is important to point out that this has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

The Loki series will also star Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Sasha Lane. The Marvel Cinematic Universe show is expected to resume production in Atlanta this month and it has already been revealed that Richard E. Grant is already in Georgia to start filming.
