One day before Tuesday's "Hi, Speed" event, iPhone 12 features like longer battery life, faster Face ID, and better camera zoom surfaced online.

Only a day before Apple's upcoming "Hi, Speed" event on Tuesday, last-minute rumors hound the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, with many of those leaks surfacing online. Notable leaks include longer battery life, faster Face ID, and better camera zoom. Popular leaker Max Weinbach shared most of the supposed features of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro over the weekend.

Using his @PineLeaks Twitter account, Weinbach revealed the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max variants will have a slightly better battery performance which may translate to at least an extra hour of battery life. In the meantime, Weinbach said the iPhone 12 mini may perform poorer than the iPhone 11 due to its smaller form factor. Other features that Weinbach shared are faster Face ID and better camera zoom.

As regards the Face ID, rumors say that Apple engineers have come up with a new feature they call "dynamic zoning algorithm." This will come along with the new iPhone 12 lineup and will reportedly enhance the Face ID performance. There is no way of confirming whether rumors on iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max having longer battery life, faster Face ID and better camera zoom are true or not. There were also rumors that the iPhone 12 mini will feature a notch which is smaller horizontally but a bit bigger vertically, to make way for Face ID sensors.

Aside from the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro having features like faster Face ID and longer battery life, rumors also indicate that their digital and optical zoom capabilities will give the devices a "massive boost." The rumors came in the light of claims made by reliable leaker Kang who revealed last Friday that the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will have better camera zoom. He said the new iPhones will feature enhanced optical zooms at 4x zoom and 5x zoom, respectively.

According to rumors, the iPhone models can enhance their digital zoom through the combination of several frames at various zoom levels and stacking the frames together. The algorithm, which is based on Deep Fusion, will handle the alignment and sharpening correction on the images, and then the Smart HDR 3 feature will take care of the rest. With features like longer battery life, better camera zoom, and faster Face ID, along with an improved algorithm for superior alignment and sharpening, are enough to excite Apple fans all over the world.

Weinbach also said that the Ultra Wide will get a bigger aperture this year, which will improve low-light performance across the board. Aside from the leaked iPhone 12, Pro features such as better camera zoom, longer battery life, and faster Face ID, rumors also say that the iPhone 12 may support 4K videos at 120 fps and 4K at 240 fps. These features, if true, will indeed spice up some of the iPhone 12 models at the time of launch this coming Tuesday, October 13.
