Melania Trump revealed her experiences with COVID-19. Two weeks after testing positive, she authored a brief essay, which the White House's official website published on Wednesday.

The post titled, My Personal Experiences With COVID-19, takes her readers to the details of her symptoms, as well as her thoughts amid recovery. She began with her and Donald Trump's diagnoses earlier this month and continued with how they learned about Barron Trump's eventual contraction.

The First Lady said that her only son was the first thing that came to her mind upon receiving the troubling news about their test results. While the 14-year-old Trump tested negative, her "fears" eventually came true as Barron's succeeding tests came back positive.

Melania Trump thought, though, that she and her family were lucky. She noted that Barron Trump did not exhibit the symptoms of COVID-19, adding that her son is a "strong" teenager.

She, also, revealed that, "in one way," she was "glad" that all three of them went through the same thing at the same time. She seemingly took it as an opportunity to spend time together and "take care of one another."

Following the worrying test results, the First Lady said that Barron no longer has COVID-19. Similarly, she has tested negative, as well, for the deadly virus.

Melania Trump confirmed the good news in the latter part of her essay. She said that she now hopes to return to her duties and responsibilities soon as the First Lady of the United States.

Aside from these things, the former model revealed what her symptons were like in the two weeks of her COVID-19 infection. She shared that her diagnosis came with "minimal symptoms" but, they hit her "all at once."

In describing the experience, she deemed it to be a "roller coaster" of symptoms. She felt "extremely tired" all the time, noting that her body ached, as well as her head due to cough.

In the middle of her piece, Melania Trump took the opportunity to thank everyone for the "medical care" and "professional discretion" that she and her family received, especially from their doctors and staff. She added that she was in total awe of the caretakers and frontline workers.

Unlike the U.S. President, though, she and Barron Trump remained inside the White House to continue with the quarantine and recovery. Melania added that she opted for the "natural" way, revealing that she chose to consume more vitamins and "healthy food" instead of drugs.
