BLACKPINK increased their international fanbase by adding Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard and Latin music superstar Shakira to their roster of BLINKs.

In an Instagram post, Finn Wolfhard proved that he was a certified BLINK by posting a series of BLACKPINK related merchandise on his IG stories.Wolfhard dropped his autographed copy of THE ALBUM, as well as his special edition of BLACKPINK Monopoly. He even joked about landing on BLACKPINK In Your Area property on the board game, Koreaboo reported.

Wolfhard also gave a special shoutout to Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose for the release of their Netflix documentary Light Up The Sky. He even tagged the members' Instagram for the shoutout. BLINKs from all around the world took to social media to welcome the Stranger Things star into the fandom. They said they were happy to learn about his great taste in music.

Meanwhile, Rose received a very special shoutout from Shakira for her cover of the hit song "Waka Waka." It can be recalled that in BLACKPINK's recent guesting for Knowing Bros., Rose performed her version of Shakira's iconic song "Waka Waka." The song was the official theme song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Shakira was able to catch her performance online and immediately shared her positive reaction.

On Twitter and Instagram, Shakira congratulated Rose on doing such a good job. She complimented the BLACKPINK member and thanked her for her performance of "Waka Waka." She even praised Rose's hairstyle, Soompi reported.

BLINKs welcomed Shakira's reaction and said it would just be perfect for the two singers to collaborate on a song.

BLACKPINK just released their final comeback of the year with their first full-length album entitled THE ALBUM. After breaking records by reaching new milestones on international music charts, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose are expected to focus on individual promotions in the final quarter of the year. YG Entertainment earlier confirmed that Rose will be the first to release her solo debut this year after group promotions.

Rose recently shared snippets from her recording session in a segment for Light Up The Sky. She also shared how she overcame her insecurities in writing her music for her solo track. Rose is known to be a talented singer by BLINKs but the documentary presented a different side of her artistry as a songwriter.

Meanwhile, Jennie's song "SOLO," recently surpassed PSY's "Gangnam Style" as the most-streamed song on Spotify from a Korean soloist, Soompi reported.
