There is a popular game set to come to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service this week. After some teases made on social media, Microsoft has confirmed that Ubisoft’s “Rainbow Six Siege” will be one of the latest addition to the service that should delight gamers.

Barely a day after images of teaser showing knights preparing to attack a castle came out, Microsoft put all the speculations to rest through a blog post. Some already had an idea of “Rainbow Six Siege” being that new game through the graphics which included some rainbow sets above the castle. Some believe it was the key element in the graphic that gave the game away.

“Rainbow Six Siege” will be among the new titles that gamers can look forward to, a timely addition for folks who continue to be held up at home. The game is set to debut on Xbox Game Pass and cloud gaming on Android devices with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate this Friday, Oct. 22.

   

Hence, gamers have even more reason now to keep themselves busy in the coming weeks. It essentially helps gamers who are unable to play the game because they don’t own game consoles. They can now do so through their Android devices.

But aside from that, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also use their membership discounts on goodies tied to the game. That includes 10% off on in-game items. Among the things, gamers can get include cosmetics to the Year 5 pass to get access to the new characters added to the roster of the game.

With the continuous updates Ubisoft is applying to the game, there is more to watch out for. That includes maps, modes and operators that should keep players busy for the next couple of weeks – especially the ones who may be playing it for the first time.

The timing is also perfect. Most know that the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S is set to arrive in November. Other games expected to follow include “Starfield” and the highly-awaited “The Elder Scrolls 6.”

For Android users, there are more games to check out. There are over 150 games available via cloud streaming, addressing the woes of some who don’t have a game console.

As far as “Rainbow Six Siege,” it also offers a chance for players to check out Sam Fisher. The Splinter Cell protagonist was brought in as part of September’s Shadow Legacy operation, Game Rant reported.
