A leaker says that the OnePlus 9 series with the codename "Lemonade" is coming and will hit the markets soon with a promise of better cameras and improved batteries.
Rumors say that OnePlus will soon unveil its 9 series smartphones and while the company declined to comment on the reports, many say that it does exist and its codename is "Lemonade." The OnePlus 9 series leaks followed similar information about a future Galaxy S30 and S30 Ultra. Max J, a known leaker, posted an image on Twitter with the word "Lemonade," which is an apparent reference to the rumored OnePlus 9 series.
In a follow-up, Max J confirmed that the earlier tweet of an image with the word "Lemonade" is the OnePlus 9 series codename. This erases any doubts as to what that tweet meant. Industry observers, however, recall that this is not the first time that a OnePlus device used the codename "Lemonade." Although this appears to be the first time that the codename is linked to the OnePlus 9 family.

Another feature that most users would want to see on the rumored OnePlus 9 series is a telephoto lens that will allow them to snap optical zoom photos, which closes the distance without degrading its resolution. Like the wireless charging capability, the telephoto lens is only available on Pro smartphone models. Users also wish that the OnePlus 9 series, along with the telephoto lens, would have better resolution main cameras. In the case of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, both have 48MP main cameras. Many wish that the rumored OnePlus 9 series, which has a codename "Lemonade," would have 64MP main cameras like other smartphones in its range.
Some users also wish the rumored OnePlus 9 series would have two selfie cameras, one which can take standard shoots and the other which allows you to take wide-angle photos of yourself and your friends. Such a feature in "Lemonade" would provide users with a greater degree of versatility when it comes to selfies.
There are many other features that users would like to see in the rumored OnePlus 9 series. Seasoned observers, however, say that until OnePlus itself lets everyone in on what "Lemonade" is all about, everything outside of the codename remains pure speculation. Nevertheless, based on past OnePlus pronouncements, the rumored OnePlus 9 series with the codename "Lemonade," may finally have wireless charging, better display refresh rate, a bigger battery, palm-rejection technology, an improved camera resolution, and telephoto lens, as well as two selfie cameras.
