BLINK is definitely one of the most supportive and active fandoms in the K-pop world. BLACKPINK is very aware of this, which is why they try to show their love and appreciation to their fans as much as possible.

One of the best moments of a fan’s life is to have the opportunity to communicate with their idol. Just like most K-pop groups, BLACKPINK also has a social media account, where they go online to chat with BLINKs.

However, Rose shared in the 16th episode of 24/365 with BLACKPINK that she couldn’t go live as much as she wanted to. Many may think that the 23-year-old singer and dancer has no time for BLINKs anymore, but it’s certainly not the case. Rose finally explained the real reason why.

“I want to do live sessions, but it’s way too late right now, and I don’t want to wake up BLINKs. It’s always like this. I want to go live, but when I look at the time, it’s way too late at night. I’m really upset about that,” she said.

As it turns out, Rose wanted to communicate with BLINKs but had to stop herself as most of them are already fast asleep. Since BLACKPINK’s schedule is always hectic, the girls would finish their activities quite late. But the star promised fans that she would try harder to communicate with them.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK just had a comeback, and it was successful as expected. The YG Entertainment girl group’s latest music video, “Lovesick Girls” already has over 230 million views on YouTube, just a month after its release. Their collaboration with Selena Gomez, “Ice Cream,” which was uploaded on the platform two months ago, has 387million views as of this writing.

Jennie previously shared that the diversity of the group is the key to their success. The BLACKPINK members were living in different countries before the group was formed. Jisoo is from Korea, Jennie is from New Zealand, Rose is from Australia, and Lisa is from Thailand.

Because of their different backgrounds and cultures, their fans are not only coming from one place. But it’s not the only reason why they are loved by their supporters as the girls; visuals and talent are top-tier.

YG Entertainment was on a hunt to form a next-level girl group. Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa were carefully handpicked during the audition, and they are now considered to be four of the most successful stars in the industry.
