Suga surprised ARMYs with a live broadcast after the release of BTS’s latest hit, “Life Goes On,” which already garnered over 100 million views in two days. While fans were happy to see the boys during the press conference and countdown, it was hard for them not to feel sad about Suga not being there.

Suga previously announced that he had shoulder surgery and that he is recovering from it. Because of his condition and his doctor's advice, the BTS rapper wasn’t able to participate in BTS’s recent activities.

But just because Suga is not allowed to physically join RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook in the promotion of their new album “BE,” that does not mean that he will be ghosting the fans the whole time. In fact, the “Daechwita” rapper recently hosted a live broadcast to talk with ARMYs and shared more details about his surgery and recovery.

Suga had an arm sling on, which showed that he has still not fully recovered from his surgery. When a fan asked about his gear, he showed it off and said that it looked like a doggy bag of his dog Holly.

To lessen ARMYs’ worries, Suga assured them that he’s getting a lot of rest. He even said that he gained some weight because he had been eating a lot while recovering and shared that his “cheeks are fluffy.”

“I’m getting a lot of rest… I’ve been eating really well too… Two weeks before the surgery, I kind of gave up and started eating whatever I wanted. So my cheeks are fluffy now,” he said.

Meanwhile, ARMYs have been aware of Suga's shoulder injury for years. During his trainee days, the rapper struggled financially and had to work part-time jobs while trying to achieve his dreams.

One of those part-time jobs that he had at the time was working as a delivery man. Unfortunately, Suga had an accident that damaged his shoulder. Even though it happened years ago, SG still struggled with the pain, and he finally decided to undergo surgery.

Suga previously took to Weverse to post a personal message to fans, where he shared that he put a lot of thoughts into his decision. The 27-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer added that three out of four hospitals that he went to recommended surgery, and so he concluded it was the best option for him.
