Melania Trump released several photos these past few days to give updates about the Christmas decorations inside the White House. On Twitter, she touted the work and the volunteers who helped her finish the task.
On Wednesday, the First Lady shared some information about the decorations she did and the essence of each. She recently talked about the ones in the Vermeil Room and the East Landing.

Melania said that the decorations in the first location are "dedicated" to the "ornament" of the former U.S. President Kennedy. As for the Gold Star Families tree, she said that it serves as a "humble reminder" of the sacrifices for the public's freedom.

Despite making efforts, though, netizens did not seemingly find them pleasing. In the comment section of the posts, many individuals slammed and mocked Melania Trump for various reasons.
"Deport yourself," one netizen said, adding that she "hates" Christmas. You "personally" decorated the White House?, a different Twitter user rhetorically asked.
Some critics, also, poked fun at the First Lady for dedicating the decorations to the former U.S. President. Most of them mocked her following the renovations she did at the Rose Garden.
Does this "make up for digging up Jackie's roses," another netizen stated, quipping that she left a "huge mess" afterward. You "excavated and destroyed" Jackie's rose garden, one critic added.
Melania Trump received several other more criticisms and mockeries from the public. But, many of her fans shared their support and praise, as well.
"We love our First Lady," one supporter replied, adding that the decorations are "beautiful." Another fan echoed the sentiments, stating that the decorations are some of the "coolest" in the world. It is "phenomenal."
A different Twitter user shared the same thoughts and complimented the First Lady. Melania looks "amazing at the Christmas tree." You are "simply beautiful" as "beauty, grace, and elegance define you."
The majority of the mockeries come after Melania Trump was heard professing her complaints toward decorating the White House. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff released their 2018 conversations through the secret recordings she made while serving inside the White House.
Amid the promotion of her memoir, Melania and Me, she dropped the tapes and went public with it earlier in October. The First Lady has since received criticisms and jeers from the public, especially from her critics on social media.
The White House hit back at Wolkoff, describing the book as "full of mistruths." As for the secret tapes, the East Wing's Chief-of-Staff Stephanie Grisham called out the former staff and accused her of "peddling" herself through the tapes.
