Concerned friends of Prince Harry are encouraging him to take a break and go on a health retreat for his emotional wellness.
Prince Harry has apparently been under a lot of pressure and might need to see a therapist again to keep his emotional health checked. Aside from coping with living away from friends and family, the Duke of Sussex has had upsetting news with Meghan Markle's pregnancy loss and the re-opening of the investigation into his mother, Princess Diana's Panorama interview.
A source told New Idea that Prince Harry used to get professional help and therapy, which has pacified and relieved those around him as well. According to psychologist Dr. Gilda Carle, the Duke of Sussex may experience post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after he "went through more devastation" than what people realize. Carle added that dealing with loss and grief takes years of self-work.
One insider said that Prince Harry plans to go on a yoga retreat and has looked into a new site in Santa Barbara. It's a place where he can stay for a few days to help clear his mind, but the Duke of Sussex will likely consider checking in once the COVID crisis calms down.
The friend said that his wife, Meghan Markle, will likely be thrilled if he's considering the yoga retreat. Boosting his mental wellness will help with their plans to have another baby after her miscarriage.
The Duchess of Sussex confirmed in an op-ed piece that she lost their second baby in July. Meghan wrote that she saw the sadness and pain in her husband's face while dealing with the baby loss at the hospital.
However, sources said that the Sussex pair are currently doing healthy and well. Royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight that they are hopeful and optimistic despite the loss.
Prince Harry told the royal family of Meghan's miscarriage from the onset. Sources said that he leaned on Prince William and Prince Charles for support even if they live miles apart from each other. Sources within Buckingham Palace said there is understandable sadness within the royal family after Meghan and Harry lost their second baby.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry is also keeping tabs on the investigation about Princess Diana's old Panorama interview. People from his camp said that the Duke of Sussex receives regular updates about BBC's independent probe even as he hasn't publicly proclaimed that, like Prince William, he welcomes that someone is looking into this matter to know if Princess Diana was fooled into agreeing to her bombshell interview with Martin Bashir.
