Samsung's new Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds, which is set for release early next year, is likely to have 'Spatial Audio' capability, the same feature that came with Apple's AirPods Pro.

It seems that whatever Apple does, Samsung follows. Previously, Samsung mocked Apple for not including a power or charging brick in its new iPhone boxes, only to follow the Cupertino tech giant's footsteps barely a month later. Recently, Samsung appeared bent on following Apple's footsteps again when leaks indicate that its upcoming Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds, which are likely due for release next year along with the new Galaxy S21 smartphones, will also have the 'Spatial Audio' feature, similar to that of Apple's AirPods Pro.

While Samsung's Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds are still several weeks away from its rumored release, many already know what to expect from the earpiece because the Korean tech giant accidentally leaked some of its features in the Galaxy Wearable app. Among these features is the 'Spatial Audio,' a capability that first appeared on Apple's AirPods Pro. Online news outfit 9to5Google shared the details of the leak on their website.

According to the online news outfit, Samsung's Galaxy Buds Pro bears striking similarities with the original Galaxy Buds. The new earbuds also integrated into its system many of the feature set of the previous earpiece model. One of the major differences it has with the previous models, however, is the integration of a new '3D audio for videos' feature, a capability that seems a lot like Apple AirPods Pro's 'Spatial Audio," which is also a feature on the AirPods Max.

For those who are not familiar with the feature yet, 'Spatial Audio' allows users have a theater-like surround sound experience. Many Apple fans who already own AirPods Pro and AirPods Max say they enjoy the way 'Spatial Audio' feature makes them feel like sound is coming from all directions. The Cupertino tech giant made this possible using its dynamic head tracking technology. Samsung's Galaxy Buds Pro, with its '3D audio for videos' feature, also makes it possible for users to have a similar experience provided by Apple's AirPods Pro and AirPods Max.

"Hear vivid, immersive sound coming from all directions so you feel like you're right in the scene when you watch videos," a note underneath the toggle for Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro's '3D audio for videos' feature says. The note also advises users that in order for them to get the best experience, they need to keep their earbuds near their phones. Samsung did not confirm whether its '3D audio for videos' feature also gives the same experience provided by Apple's AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. However, it promised that users would definitely enjoy the new earbuds, which is set for release in early 2021.
