Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra models are all set for launch this month of January and everyone is already guessing what to expect from the new lines.

Since last year, Samsung's Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra models became the focus of rumors and leaks, with most of the talks centered on new features that the new smartphones bring. This month of January, people will finally see whether rumors are true or not as Samsung is set to launch the new line of smartphone models. The question on everyone's mind, however, is how will the new S21 series compare with the current iPhone 12 family?

Traditionally, fall is usually synonymous with Apple events that center on product launches, including new iPhone models. Spring, on the other hand, is often linked to similar product launches, this time from rival Samsung. This month of January, Samsung is set to unveil its latest Galaxy series models, consisting of the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra smartphones. Like iPhone, the closest rival of Samsung Galaxy series phones, the latest models are subject to much speculation and rumors, particularly since many usually compare the smartphones made by the South Korean tech giant against those coming out of Cupertino.

With the latest iPhone 12 family highlighting its 5G capability and LiDAR, many expect Samsung to come up with similar features for its new Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra models, which are due for release this month of January. If rumors and leaks on the smartphone lines are true, then Samsung's new smartphones may have a head-to-head with those from Apple.

Although Samsung's new smartphone models set for release this month of January is less than one compared to Apple's four models released in October last year, it does not mean they are inferior. The three new models, which consist of the Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, offer less difference as the model range goes higher.

Early reports say that of the three Samsung models, the Galaxy S21 appears to be the entry-level model, while the S21 Plus offers a bigger and slightly enhanced version of the entry-level phone. The S21 Ultra, meanwhile, is considered as the "Pro" variant among the three Samsung models, having the biggest size and even better specifications in some cases. All of the three new smartphone models, Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, are due for release this month of January.

Rumors also say that the Samsung Galaxy S21 will have a 6.2-inch OLED display, bringing it face to face with the 6.1-inch displays of Apple's iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. The mid-range Samsung Galaxy S21+ reportedly has a 6.7-inch display, bringing it head-on against the iPhone 12 Pro Max. As regards the top-of-the-line model, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, it exceeds the display range of Apple iPhone models at a 6.8-inch screen display. Samsung did not confirm the exact date of the launch of the Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, though rumors indicate that it will happen this month of January, most likely on the 14th.
