Suga confirmed back in November that he had a shoulder surgery, which many believed is long overdue. The BTS star had been in pain for years due to his shoulder injury that he got while working as a delivery man during his trainee days.

Two months ago, Suga finally decided to undergo surgery before his condition worsens. While the BTS star was happy with his decision, the downside is that it takes a while for him to recover, and he needed to do some physical therapy.

That said, the “Daechwita” rapper was prohibited from doing some activities. Therefore, he wasn’t allowed to join RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook in their promotion. Suga is very hardworking, so the situation was extremely hard for him.

Weverse magazine recently released its interview with Suga, where the 27-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer shared what it was like not being able to join his members during the promotion. The BTS star said that it would take several months for his shoulder to recover fully, but he’s trying hard to “get better as fast as possible.”

One of the main reasons why Suga wants his shoulder to heal right away is because he wants to join his members. Although BTS had a two-month hiatus before, this one feels different for the “Shadow” rapper because he’s the only one taking a break.

Suga shared that while watching RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook during the promotional period, he couldn’t help but notice that something is missing. “Not necessarily because I’m not there but because something that should be there is missing,” he said.

The BTS star previously admitted that he’s really bored in rehab, which is very understandable given that he had a hectic schedule before his surgery. While laying down in bed all day may sound ideal to some people, it is hard for someone hardworking as Suga.

During BTS’s exclusive interview with iHeartRadio‘s Most Requested Live Ask Anything Chat with Romeo, RM asked the host and viewers if they know the term “Sim Sim,” a Korean word for “bored,” which is his way of describing SG’s mood.

The BTS leader said that Suga couldn't work because his arm hurts. J-Hope shared that the rapper “keeps saying that he really wants to get back to work. He wants to get back in the swing of things, so he’s been working hard on rehab.”
