Computer-Aided Design (CAD) renders of the Apple iPad Pro leaked out to the public recently and showed there are no major changes in the design of the upcoming 11-inch tablet.

If there is one constant thing about Apple products, it is that they are always subject to dozens of rumors way before their release. Many people always speculate on features of upcoming products, their design, and then compare those with past products. Apple's upcoming iPad Pro is among those products that are subject to much speculation. For one, fans speculated on the type of changes, including its form factor, design, and features, the new 11-inch tablet will bring. Recently, a CAD render of the 2021 iPad Pro surfaced online, showing no major changes in its design.

The newly leaked images of Apple's new 11-inch tablet appear to confirm earlier reports that the 2021 iPad Pro will have no major changes, at least on the external design. This does not mean, however, the Cupertino tech giant literally did not make some changes to the design of the new iPad. As the recently leaked CAD renders show, there are a few changes in the outward design of the 2021 iPad Pro, though only in small amounts when compared to the last model.

If you compare the leaked CAD renders of Apple's upcoming iPad Pro with the 2020 model, you would only notice two minor physical changes. Tech news outlet 91mobile compared the two iPad models and revealed what those minor physical changes are. According to the news outlet, Apple's new 11-inch tablet, while still as thick as the previous model, is a few millimeters shorter in terms of length and breadth. Another minor change to the 2021 iPad Pro is that its speaker grills appear much smaller compared to past models.

In the case of the 12.9-inch variant of the 2021 iPad Pro, it is approximately 0.5mm thicker than the previous model. Tech news outlet 91mobile attributes this change to the rumored mini LED components integrated into the new tablet. Past rumors about Apple's next-generation iPad Pro models indicate there are no changes, at least to their designs, form factor, or their display size. The recently leaked CAD renders of Apple's 11-inch iPad Pro appear to confirm this. Industry observers say that if there is one big change in the devices, it might come in the form of a significantly improved A-series chip.

There are also rumors that the rear cameras on Apple's 2021 iPad Pro models will protrude less when compared side by side with the 2020 model. Although the newly leaked CAD renders of the 11-inch iPad Pro do show the camera bump, the change is so minuscule that you will hardly notice it. Besides, Apple fans say the protrusion of individual camera lenses is not required after all. Whispered talks are also rampant about Apple releasing a standard version of its new 11-inch iPad Pro and its 12.9-inch variant, while also launching a separate high-end mini-LED 12.9-inch model, though this remains speculative at the moment.
