BLACKPINK Jennie's YouTube channel received 1.75 million subscribers within 24 hours. It is on its way to 2.5 million followers on its second day.

According to a report by All Kpop, Jennie's channel jennyrubyjane official made history by earning the second most number of subscribers in a day. The record for the most number of subscribers in 24 hours belongs to Marília Mendonça, who received 1.8 million subscribers on her first day.

However, as of January 18, Jennie's channel is already being followed by 2.4 million subscribers. Jennie started her channel last January 16 in time for her 25th birthday.

According to the BLACKPINK member, she wanted to share her daily life with her fans so she thought of creating a YouTube channel. In her first post entitled Hello World, Jennie showed how a typical day in her life is.

She showcased a vintage Chanel necklace and also performed a cover of Mandy Moore's "When Will My Life Begin?", Hypebeast reported. The post was viewed 9.2 million times since it was uploaded.

Jennie and BLACKPINK are quite popular on YouTube. Jennie's debut song "SOLO" recently reached 600 million views on the streaming platform. BLACKPINK also has three MVs that have breached the 1 billion views mark. The official Youtube channel of BLACKPINK recently received the rare honor of earning a Ruby Play button for reaching 50 million subscribers. It is the first Korean channel to achieve the milestone.

To celebrate her birthday month, it came as no surprise that Jennie once again reigned in the January brand reputation rankings for girl group members.

Based on the report released by the Korean Business Research Institute, Jennie secured the top spot in this month's list with a brand reputation index of 2,855,331. Jennie ranked high for the phrases "YouTube", "SOLO", and "Instagram" as well as the terms"open", "sexy", and "alluring". Jennie also logged a 72.55 percent positive score in the positivity-negativity analysis.

All of the BLACKPINK members landed in the Top 10 of the brand reputation rankings for January. Jisoo claimed the No. 3 spots while Rose and Lisa secured the seventh and eighth positions easily. The rest of the Top 10 spots were occupied by Oh My Girl's Arin, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon, (G)I-DLE's Yuqi, MAMAMOO's Hwasa, TWICE's Sana and Nayeon, Soompi reported.
