Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are excited about 2021 following a game-changing 2020 as they finally launch Archewell and their first Netflix show.

According to royal biographer Omid Scobie, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are eager for the projects they've been working on for the last year to come to fruition. Scobie said that royal fans will finally see Harry and Meghan's "fruits of labor" as they slowly lay down their legacy.

Admittedly, however, Scobie said that the last year was a roller coaster ride for the Sussexes, and Princess Diana's biographer, Andrew Morton, couldn't agree more. He said that Harry and Meghan could not hide the "trauma" on their faces after news came out in January about their fallout with William, Prince Charles, and even Queen Elizabeth. Morton believes that Harry regretted how he and Meghan announced their resignation, which unfolded a royal crisis that could rival a drama series.

Scobie further said that Harry and Meghan had to endure a personal but relatable struggle as they transitioned to their new life in America. Their baby's nanny decided to go back to the U.K. amid the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving the Sussex pair to take turns with Archie. The couple also suffered an unexpected baby loss when Meghan confirmed in July 2020 that she had a miscarriage.

Amid the lockdowns, a public health threat, and these personal challenges, Meghan and Harry had to work for their financial security, mostly from their new house in Montecito. On top of establishing Archewell, they were able to successfully sign lucrative deals with media agencies like Spotify and Netflix.

Though the process of uprooting his life in London and foregoing his royal privileges was a painful chapter, sources close to Harry said that he has no regrets. The Duke of Sussex feels that what they have done, and will continue to do for Archewell, is more rewarding.

Meghan and Harry will be back in the United Kingdom in due time to visit the royal family and still touch base with their royal patronages. However, as much as possible, the Sussex pair will avoid traveling due to the public health crisis unless it's an important matter, such as the Queen's public parade and Prince Philip's centennial birthday in June 2021.

Meanwhile, rumors are rife that Meghan and Harry might have newly-inaugurated U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris in one of their podcast shows for Spotify and Archewell Audio. Both women have expressed admiration for each other in the past.

While people close to Harris said she's usually not the type to be affected by a popularity contest, she won't also likely pass the chance to work with the Duchess of Sussex. Royal observers said that the two could have a one-off collaboration where they can talk about their shared beliefs and interests.
